Urban Dream Aesthetics

The new vision of design according to Lea Ceramiche

In the landscape of contemporary interior design, a clear trend is emerging: spaces are no longer conceived as simple containers, but as visual landscapes. Environments in which materials, surfaces and hues contribute to creating a coherent narrative capable of evoking defined sensations, identities and atmospheres.

This evolution has led to the definition of a new aesthetic, that of urban dreamlike landscapes. These are design scenarios that combine matter, imagination and visual continuity through a contemporary approach, attentive to lightness, layering and the relationship between surfaces.

In this new context, Lea Ceramiche develops a material vocabulary designed to respond to the needs of current interiors. Light, versatile surfaces characterized by calibrated textures amplify the potential of space and enable a more fluid, continuous and coordinated design process.

New Material Balances among the trends for the next two years

The design directions that emerged in 2025 – and are set to strengthen in 2026 – highlight a growing interest in spaces conceived as visual landscapes. In these environments, matter plays a fundamental role: the combination of layered surfaces, tonal variations and calibrated depth builds a precise, legible and contemporary identity.

At the same time, the value of material mix & match is affirmed, an approach that allows solid colors, natural textures and marble effects to be combined in a balanced way. This compositional technique defines dynamic, customized interiors rich in nuances. Ceramics, thanks to their versatility, become a key material to interpret this trend: they make it possible to integrate different aesthetics while maintaining very controlled visual continuity.

Ceramic surfaces thus become decisive tools in the design of contemporary interiors. Their resistance, structural lightness and the breadth of formats offer compositional possibilities superior to many traditional materials.

Slimtech: visual continuity as a code of contemporary design

Within this design scenario, the large Slimtech slabs take on a central role. The reduced thicknesses – 3.5 mm, 5.5 mm and 6 mm – allow continuous and lightweight applications, while the fiberglass reinforcement ensures resistance and durability. Formats up to 300×100 cm allow an installation that minimizes joints and maximizes the perception of continuity.

These characteristics make Slimtech particularly suitable for:

  • renovations with installation over existing surfaces
  • large-scale contract projects
  • spaces seeking a strong visual identity
  • scenographic vertical claddings
  • coordinated applications between floor, wall and furniture

The resulting visual continuity becomes a distinctive feature of the most contemporary interiors: extended, lightweight and coherent surfaces that define the space with a clean and essential language.

Pigmen, Noblesse, Intense, Pulse: sebuah kosakata material kontemporer

Pigmenti: colour as architecture

The Pigmenti collection, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, restores to colour a primary design role. The material effect of the surfaces, combined with the micro-textures of the ceramic, creates deep and velvety fields.

The ultra-thin Slimtech 3plus slabs allow lightweight applications, even on existing surfaces, and facilitate the creation of continuous walls that become real architectural elements.

The colour range of Pigmenti easily dialogues with natural materials and with the entire system of Lea Ceramiche collections, making it an ideal solution for contemporary environments that require full and coherent tones.

Noblesse: the elegance of marble reinterpreted for contemporary interiors

Noblesse interprets the marble effect with a refined and contemporary sensitivity. The range includes twelve variants that span from intense tones to more classic nuances, each characterized by sophisticated veining and visual depth.

The Slimtech 6 mm version allows high-impact vertical and horizontal applications.

The Chain and Butterfly decors further expand the aesthetic potential of the collection, transforming it into an ideal solution for contract and residential projects seeking a measured elegance, never excessive but clearly recognizable.

Thanks to its versatility, Noblesse makes it possible to interpret the contemporary concept of “quiet prestige”: precious, discreet surfaces perfectly integrated into the visual language of current interiors.

Intense: the material depth of limestone

With Intense, ceramics explore the material richness of limestone. The surfaces are defined by fine granularity, micro-inclusions and a controlled texture that conveys a natural realism.

The five available shades are designed to harmonize with the entire material world of Lea Ceramiche.

The Slimtech Intense (6 mm) version allows continuous applications on a large scale, ideal for environments with a strong, minimalist and contemporary character.

The collection is particularly suitable for projects requiring natural surfaces but with high technical performance, both in residential and contract settings.

Pulse: the new contemporary stone

Pulse represents an updated reading of natural stone. Its textures feature gentle movements and tonal variations that create balanced and visually lightweight surfaces.

The collection integrates naturally with Pigmenti, Noblesse and Intense, offering an additional tool for composing coherent and sophisticated material mixes.

Pulse is also available in Slimtech 6 mm, making it ideal for those seeking large, coordinated and graphically clean surfaces. Its versatile aesthetic makes it perfect for both residential environments and contemporary contract spaces.

A new way of designing interiors

The integration of large slabs, ultra-thin surfaces and evolved material palettes now makes it possible to design spaces defined by:

  • visual continuity
  • tonal coherence
  • measured and sophisticated contrasts
  • natural combinations between ceramic, marble and stone effect
  • lighter and more fluid design dynamics

This gives rise to a new design language, in which ceramics are not just a covering, but an active element in defining the visual identity of the space.

A material capable of creating coherent atmospheres, contemporary landscapes and compositions defined by a material balance that reflects the way we live interiors today.
