The new headquarters of Gruppo Bonfiglioli in Calderara di Reno represents a major architectural intervention, conceived to express in built form the company's values of innovation, efficiency and industrial vision. The project is part of EVO, the group's broader development programme, designed to guide the evolution towards advanced and sustainable production models.
The building, conceived as a NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) and developed with the contribution of ARUP for structural and systems engineering, integrates a 3 MW photovoltaic system, geothermal systems and radiant ceilings, ensuring high environmental performance and internal comfort. Indirect natural light, amplified by the north-facing facade, improves the quality of working environments, while an internal green courtyard promotes ventilation and microclimatic wellbeing.
In this evolving context, the clients once again confirm their choice of Lea Ceramiche surfaces, recognising their reliability, technical performance and design quality.
Lea Ceramiche surfaces define a continuous and coherent material system, capable of accompanying the entire building with high-performance and aesthetically distinctive solutions. The Masterpiece collection, in the Master Gray shade, establishes a neutral and contemporary base for the operational and collective spaces, contributing to a uniform reading of the environments and enhancing natural light.
In the representative spaces, the Calacatta Oro shade from the Noblesse collection introduces a more expressive and luminous dimension: the large slabs amplify the perception of space, generating elegant environments in which the ceramic material becomes a central architectural element.
Outside, the Masterpiece 20 mm surfaces extend the architectural language to the terraces, ensuring resistance, safety and durability even under intensive use conditions. The continuity between interior and exterior reinforces the coherence of the project, maintaining a recognisable material identity across all its components.
The new building takes shape as an evolved workplace, in which architecture, technology and material integrate into a coherent and future-oriented system, with Lea Ceramiche surfaces as the key element of identity, performance and continuity.
